An AI sales chatbot answers website visitors from your content, qualifies them against your criteria, books meetings and writes the details to your CRM. The best choice depends on your CRM, your traffic and whether buyers need only chat or also phone and live video. Below, we compare nine tools on those sales jobs.

We make SalesCloser, one of the tools below. We placed it fourth, grouped with the tools it most resembles, and held every product to the same standard: only what the vendor says on its own website.
This list looks only at sales jobs: answering buyer questions, qualifying, booking meetings, writing to your CRM and handing off to a rep. It also checks which tools talk by phone or live video, because many buyers want more than a chat window.
Quick picks by use case
- Salesforce-centric B2B teams with high inbound traffic: Qualified (Piper).
- One AI agent for support and inbound sales: Intercom Fin.
- Teams already running on HubSpot CRM: HubSpot chatbot builder and Customer Agent.
- Chat plus phone and live video demos, booked through Calendly or Cal.com: SalesCloser.
- B2B SaaS teams that want an AI agent to answer technical questions and demo on the site: 1mind.
- Visitor identification and AI chat in one tool: Warmly.
- Teams already on Salesloft: Salesloft Chat Agents (formerly Drift).
- Ecommerce stores: Tidio (Lyro AI Agent).
- SMBs wanting a no-code bot built from their website across messaging channels: ChatBot.com.
How we chose these tools
We judged each tool on sales jobs only, not on support ticket deflection. For every product we looked for these things:
- Qualification: does it ask qualifying questions or score visitors on fit and intent?
- Meeting booking: can it put a meeting on a rep’s calendar, and through which tool?
- CRM write-back: does it save the lead and conversation details to a named CRM?
- Channels: website chat only, or also messaging apps, email, phone and live video?
- Answers from your content: is it trained on your website, documents or knowledge base?
- Handoff: can it route a buyer to a person with context attached?
Every claim below was checked on the vendor’s own website on October 19, 2026. We used no third-party ratings, review scores or customer counts. Where a site did not mention a feature, we wrote “not stated on the vendor’s site”. That means we could not confirm it, not that it is missing.
We left pricing out because plans change often. Check each vendor’s pricing page directly.
Support-first bots were left out on purpose. Zendesk’s AI agents page, for example, is focused on customer service, and lead qualification, meeting booking and named CRM integrations are not stated on it. Those tools can be excellent for support, but this list is about selling.
How is an AI sales chatbot different from other chatbots?
An AI sales chatbot answers in plain language from your own content, asks qualifying questions and offers a next step, such as a booked meeting. A rule-based chatbot follows a fixed script of buttons and keywords, so it breaks when a buyer asks something the script did not expect.

An AI sales agent goes further: it can also talk on the phone or join a live video call and show the product. Some tools below are chat only; others state voice or video. All of them sit within the wider move to conversational AI for sales.
A support chatbot tries to resolve a ticket. A sales chatbot tries to learn whether the visitor is a fit and what should happen next. Several tools below do both.
Best AI sales chatbots for inbound teams on a major CRM or helpdesk
1. Qualified (Piper)
What it is: Piper is Qualified’s AI SDR Agent. It engages inbound website visitors and email leads and works to turn them into pipeline.
Best for: B2B marketing and sales teams with high inbound web traffic, especially Salesforce-centric teams.
What its site says it does:
- Schedules sales meetings when a buyer shows interest (Piper Meetings).
- Holds website conversations and nurtures inbound leads by email, and your team can work with Piper in Slack.
- Qualifies leads on criteria such as company size, intent signals or CRM data, according to Qualified’s AI SDR FAQ.
- Lists integrations with Salesforce (with a dedicated page), HubSpot, Marketo, Outreach and Salesloft.
Voice and video: Yes, stated. Qualified says Piper can “meet with visitors over video, voice, or live chat.”
Worth knowing: The qualification criteria appear in an FAQ about AI SDRs in general rather than on a Piper-specific page, so ask how Piper applies them to your own CRM fields. Write-back details for each CRM are not stated on the pages we checked.
2. Intercom Fin (Fin for Sales)
What it is: Fin is Intercom’s customer-facing AI agent across service, sales and success. Intercom says Fin for Sales “handles inbound sales end-to-end.”
Best for: SaaS teams that want one AI agent for support and inbound sales, whether they run Intercom or another helpdesk.
What its site says it does:
- Gathers qualification details like an SDR, using your criteria such as company size, budget and timeline.
- Books meetings through your existing scheduling tools, such as Calendly or Chili Piper.
- Syncs contact information and qualification signals to Salesforce, HubSpot and Marketo, and works with Zendesk, Salesforce, HubSpot and Freshdesk helpdesks.
- Routes qualified leads to a live rep or a self-serve flow, with the conversation history and an AI summary.
Voice and video: Voice is stated on Fin’s site (“Fin over Voice”, with channels including voice, chat, email, Slack and social), though the Fin for Sales page itself does not mention voice. Live video is not stated on the vendor’s site.
Worth knowing: Fin books meetings through a scheduling tool you already use, so plan to connect one. If voice matters for sales conversations, ask Intercom how Fin over Voice applies to the sales use case.
3. HubSpot (chatbot builder and Customer Agent)
What it is: A chatbot builder inside HubSpot’s Smart CRM for qualifying leads and booking meetings, plus an AI Customer Agent that HubSpot positions for customer service across chat, email and voice.
Best for: SMB and mid-market teams already on HubSpot CRM.
What its site says it does:
- The chatbot builder can “book meetings and qualify leads automatically directly from within your chatbot window.”
- Personalizes replies with contact data from HubSpot Smart CRM and can trigger email campaigns after chats.
- The Customer Agent is trained on your knowledge base, website, CRM data and documents, and can take action in the CRM and Shopify.
- Customer Agent channels include chat, email, forms, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and inbound calls.
Voice and video: Voice is stated for the Customer Agent, which “handles inbound calls in real time.” Voice for the chatbot builder is not stated. Live video is not stated on the vendor’s site.
Worth knowing: Qualification and booking are described for the chatbot builder, while the voice and wider channel features belong to the Customer Agent, which HubSpot presents as a service tool. Check which product covers the sales jobs you need.
HubSpot also describes the Customer Agent on its AI customer agent page.

Best AI sales chatbots when buyers want to talk or see a demo
4. SalesCloser
What it is: AI sales agents that hold real conversations by website chat, phone and live video, on the phone, on Zoom or in the browser.
Best for: Teams whose buyers want to talk or see the product, not only type.
What its site says it does:
- Answers buyer questions from your knowledge base (website, documents and FAQs), with no-code setup and rules.
- Answers inbound leads, asks your qualifying questions and runs discovery.
- Gives product demos by live screen share or by presenting your product video, and books qualified prospects via Calendly or Cal.com.
- Connects to HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho, GoHighLevel, Zendesk and Intercom, saving the lead, a call summary and the qualification answers. It works around the clock in 50+ languages.

Voice and video: Yes. Chat, phone and live video are all supported.
Worth knowing: It does not create or move CRM deals itself; that runs through Zapier. It is not the best fit for teams that want visitor identification, or that need deals managed natively inside the CRM.
5. 1mind (Superhumans)
What it is: An AI sales agent platform for B2B revenue teams. Its customizable AI “Superhumans” answer questions, demo, qualify and route buyers.
Best for: B2B SaaS teams that want an AI agent to answer technical questions and run demos on the website.
What its site says it does:
- Answers deep technical, product and pricing questions from your knowledge base.
- Runs interactive product demos inside the conversation.
- Qualifies intent, routes high-intent buyers, and books meetings natively or hands off to a rep in real time.
- Writes structured qualification back to the CRM, and runs on Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics or Pipedrive.
Voice and video: 1mind states avatar styles for its Superhumans (Realistic, Soundwave and Fictional), and says Ride-Along Superhumans join live calls. Voice on the website inbound page is not stated on the vendor’s site.
Worth knowing: 1mind says it works “in any language” but does not list languages, so test the ones your buyers use. 1mind is also where Salesloft says it has moved from Drift (see entry 7).

Best AI sales chatbots for signal-driven B2B sales teams
6. Warmly (AI Chatbot and Inbound Agent)
What it is: A B2B go-to-market platform that identifies website visitors at the person level and engages them with AI chat that uses CRM and intent context.
Best for: B2B teams that want visitor identification and AI chat in one tool.
What its site says it does:
- Qualifies on fit and intent signals, and escalates high-value prospects immediately.
- Books meetings with Google Calendar and Outlook, showing real-time availability and sending an instant invite.
- Pulls CRM data from HubSpot or Salesforce into the AI in real time, and is trained on your docs, FAQs and messaging.
- Engages across chat, email, LinkedIn ads and Meta ads.
Voice and video: Warmly lists an AI Call Agent as a separate product, but its details are not stated on the chatbot page. Live video is not stated on the vendor’s site.
Worth knowing: Visitor identification is central to Warmly, so review your own privacy obligations in the regions your visitors come from. The chatbot page describes reading CRM data; writing chat details back to the CRM is not stated on that page.
7. Salesloft Chat Agents (formerly Drift)
What it is: AI chat agents for website visitors that capture buyer signals and feed them into Salesloft’s Predictive Revenue System and Rhythm seller workflows.
Best for: Teams already on Salesloft who want website chat signals to trigger seller actions.
What its site says it does:
- Qualifies leads by asking preset questions and captures key data.
- Routes high-intent visitors to sales reps, and web chats trigger seller actions in Rhythm.
- Syncs chat insights automatically with your CRM and sales workflow (the page does not name the CRMs).
- Uses real-time context such as website behaviour, CRM data and past conversations.
Voice and video: Not stated on the vendor’s site. The page describes website chat only.
Worth knowing: Drift.com now redirects to this Salesloft page, which says “We’ve transitioned from Drift to 1mind.” Treat it as part of Salesloft, not a standalone Drift product. Meeting booking is not stated on the page.

Best AI sales chatbots for ecommerce and small businesses
8. Tidio (Lyro AI Agent)
What it is: Lyro is Tidio’s AI customer service agent. It learns from your data and answers shoppers in real time.
Best for: Ecommerce stores and small businesses wanting AI chat on their site.
What its site says it does:
- Guides shoppers to products in real time, directly from your store.
- Smart Actions can automate order updates or lead qualification.
- Connects with Zendesk, Intercom, Salesforce and 20+ platforms.
- Works on any channel integrated with Tidio (the Lyro page does not list them).
Voice and video: Not stated on the vendor’s site.
Worth knowing: Tidio positions Lyro as a customer service agent with sales features such as product guidance and lead qualification. Meeting booking is not stated on the page, so it suits stores selling directly more than teams booking demos.
See Tidio’s Lyro AI Agent page
9. ChatBot.com
What it is: An AI agent trained on your business data that answers customer questions and recommends products. It is part of the Text platform.
Best for: SMBs that want a no-code AI chatbot built from their website content across several messaging channels.
What its site says it does:
- Builds a knowledge base automatically from a website URL you paste in.
- A lead capture skill collects contact details and key requirements for sales follow-up when a visitor shows buying intent.
- Runs on website chat, Messenger, WhatsApp, SMS and email.
- Offers plug-and-play integrations; a workflow graphic on the site shows a HubSpot contact being updated.
Voice and video: Not stated on the vendor’s site.
Worth knowing: No CRM is named as an integration on the pages we checked, and meeting booking is not stated. Ask how captured leads reach your CRM before you commit.

How to choose an AI sales chatbot
Feature lists look similar from a distance. Test the tools against your own sales process, in this order.
- Start from your CRM and calendar. List the CRM and scheduling tool you already use, then shortlist tools that name them. Ask exactly what gets saved: the lead, a summary, the qualification answers, or a deal.
- Decide the job. Pick one main goal, such as booking qualified demos, and write down what counts as a qualified visitor.
- Decide whether it must demo or only qualify and book. If buyers need to see the product before they will meet a rep, favour tools that state demos on their own site.
- Check how your buyers want to talk. If many ask for a call or want to see the product live, chat alone may end the conversation too early.
- Write five qualifying questions and test each tool with them. Use the questions your best reps ask, and decide which answers mean book now, send to a person or not a fit.
- Test the handoff to a human. Ask for a person mid-conversation and see what context reaches your team.
- Check languages and AI disclosure settings. Test the languages your buyers use, and confirm you control how the bot introduces itself.
- Review your own obligations. Check the security, privacy and AI disclosure rules that apply to your business and regions before you go live.
Our practical guide to AI for sales shows where a chatbot sits alongside other AI tools across the funnel, and our overview of AI sales assistants covers tools that help reps rather than buyers.
Set it up so it helps first
- Gather your source content. Product pages, documentation, FAQs and common objections. Fix gaps and outdated pages first, because the chatbot will repeat what it reads.
- Set the rules. What it may not discuss, how it handles pricing questions, when it must hand off and how it introduces itself.
- Respond fast. A visitor in a chat window is often comparing options in other tabs. Answering in seconds follows the same idea as fast speed to lead for form fills.
- Review conversations weekly. Read transcripts, fix wrong answers and tune the questions as you learn what visitors actually ask.
Measure it as a funnel

Track conversations started, conversations qualified, meetings booked and meetings that actually happen. Add two quality checks: how many booked meetings your reps accept, and how accurate the answers are in a weekly sample of transcripts.
If many conversations start but few qualify, the traffic or the opening message is off. If many qualify but few book, the next step is too hard to take. If many book but few show up, tighten qualification or shorten the gap before the meeting.
Avoid the common mistakes
- Don’t ask for an email before helping. Gating the first answer behind a contact form turns a chat into a form. Answer first, then ask for details when there is a reason to, such as booking a meeting.
- Not offering the next step. A chatbot that answers well but never suggests a meeting leaves interested visitors with nowhere to go.
- No handoff. Visitors who ask for a person and get stuck in a loop leave with a worse view of your company than if there were no chat at all.
- Too many questions. Qualifying is not an interrogation. Ask only what your team needs to decide fit.
Conclusion
There is no single best AI sales chatbot, only the best fit for your CRM, your traffic and how your buyers like to talk. Teams deep in Salesforce, HubSpot, Intercom or Salesloft have strong options close to those systems. Ecommerce stores and small businesses can start with Tidio or ChatBot.com.
If your buyers want to talk or see the product first, look at tools that state voice, video or demos on their own sites. Shortlist two or three, test them with your five qualifying questions and check what lands in your CRM. To see SalesCloser on your own content, book a demo.
Frequently asked questions
What is an AI sales chatbot?
An AI sales chatbot is a chat assistant on your website that holds a sales conversation in plain language. It answers product questions from your own content, asks qualifying questions, offers a meeting or demo when the visitor is a fit, hands off to a person when needed and saves the lead to your CRM.
How is an AI sales chatbot different from a support chatbot?
A support chatbot tries to resolve a question or ticket. A sales chatbot tries to learn who the visitor is, whether they are a fit and what should happen next, such as booking a meeting. Some tools do both. Check whether the vendor’s own site describes qualification, booking and CRM write-back.
Can an AI chatbot book meetings into my calendar?
Many can, but the method varies. In this list, Intercom Fin states booking through tools such as Calendly or Chili Piper, Warmly through Google Calendar and Outlook, and SalesCloser through Calendly or Cal.com. Qualified, HubSpot and 1mind also state meeting booking. Confirm the tool supports the calendar your team already uses.
Which AI sales chatbots work with HubSpot or Salesforce?
On their own sites, Qualified, Intercom Fin, 1mind and Warmly name both HubSpot and Salesforce. HubSpot’s chatbot works inside HubSpot CRM, Tidio names Salesforce, and SalesCloser names HubSpot. Ask each vendor exactly which fields are written back, such as contact details, a summary or qualification answers.
Can an AI sales agent talk by phone or video, not only chat?
Some can. Qualified states video, voice and live chat for Piper, and SalesCloser supports chat, phone and live video. Intercom Fin and HubSpot’s Customer Agent state voice, and 1mind states avatar styles and joining live calls. Several other tools in this list describe chat only on their sites.
Should an AI sales chatbot say it is an AI?
Rules on AI disclosure vary by country and region, so check the requirements where your buyers are. Honesty also builds trust. Choose a tool that lets you control how it introduces itself, including whether it says it is an AI up front, and tell it to always answer truthfully when asked.
