SalesCloser features: AI sales agents for chat, voice, video and phone

SalesCloser gives you AI sales agents that talk with your leads on your website, in the browser by voice or video, over the phone and on WhatsApp. They answer questions from your own content, qualify buyers, book meetings and bring your team into the conversation when a person is needed. This page lists everything they can do.

Channels

Website chat

Your agent answers visitors in a chat widget on your site. You can run a text-only chat agent, or one that can also take voice and video calls.

Voice and video calls in the browser

Visitors can talk to your agent by voice or face to face on video, with no download needed. Video calls can go full screen, with call controls that float over the picture.

Lifelike video avatars

Pick from a gallery of stock avatars that move and react naturally, or use a custom avatar of your own face or a brand character, including white-label avatars. In the widget, the avatar moves live instead of showing a still image. Learn more

One widget for chat, voice and video

A single embed lets a visitor start by typing, then switch to a voice or video call with the same agent, without losing the thread. Learn more

Phone calls

Agents answer inbound calls, make outbound calls, or both, and you mark which each agent handles. You can get a calling number from your dashboard right after billing, with no separate phone provider account.

WhatsApp

Your agent answers customers who message your WhatsApp Business number, using the same instructions and knowledge as your other channels, and your team can reply from the Chats tab. When a lead asks for a person, the agent stops, emails your team and holds the thread. Campaigns can call leads over WhatsApp, and inbound WhatsApp calls reach your agent. You need a WhatsApp Business account with a registered number, and our team helps you set it up. Replies follow WhatsApp's 24-hour messaging window, and STOP is honoured. Learn more

SMS

Agents can hold two-way text conversations with leads and run campaigns by text, using the same persona and knowledge as on calls. Our team switches it on for your account; texting US leads needs carrier registration for your number.

Widget layouts

Show the widget as a bottom bar, a floating button, full screen, or a sidebar that pushes your page aside instead of covering it. You can also let it collapse to a compact pill with the agent's avatar, name, status and a mic button.

Your brand on the widget

Set colours, a header image, reply bubbles and a transparent background, and the widget's labels follow the agent's language. On paid plans you can hide the "Powered by SalesCloser" badge. Learn more

Opening messages and triggers

Greet visitors with an opening message and start conversations with engagement triggers. Landing pages can open straight into a call.

Buttons and banners

The agent can show one-tap multiple-choice questions and link buttons in the chat and during voice or video calls. A call-to-action banner can sit above the conversation with your own title and button.

Files, images and video in the chat

The agent can share files, images, video and audio as cards inside the chat. Visitors can attach PDFs, images, Word, Excel and CSV files, which are saved to the lead. Shared links stay pinned at the top of the chat.

Pre-call form

Ask for a visitor's details in a short form before a call starts, shown in the agent's language.

Signed-in visitor identity

If visitors are logged in to your site, the widget can identify them with a signed token, so conversations and calls attach to the right contact instead of an anonymous guest. Each agent has its own named signing keys you can revoke.

Conversations

Qualify leads your way

Give the agent your questions and rules, and set different instructions for different situations with conditional prompts. It asks what you need to know and records the answers on the lead.

Scripted style

When you have a call script that must be followed, choose the Scripted conversation style. The agent says your lines word for word and returns to its last question after a side question. Learn more

Answers from your content

The agent answers from the knowledge you give it, so replies match your products, pricing pages and policies.

Product demos by screen share

The agent can give a live product demo by screen share in a browser video call, so buyers see your product while they talk.

50+ languages

Agents speak with leads in 50+ languages. You decide what the agent does when a caller speaks a different language than expected. Learn more

Call language for each number

Each phone number can take its call language from the agent, from the caller's country, or from a fixed setting. Learn more

Natural speech-to-speech voices

Choose from a wide range of voices, including speech-to-speech voices that listen and reply in voice directly for more natural turn-taking. You can preview each voice before you save. Learn more

End-of-turn speed

For speech-to-speech agents, choose how long the agent waits after the caller stops speaking before it replies: Fast, Balanced or Patient. Learn more

Pronunciation dictionary

Add your brand, product and industry terms so the agent says them the way you want. It works with the classic voice setup. Learn more

Type instead of spell

On web calls, when the agent asks for an email address or phone number, the chat panel opens so the caller can type it instead of spelling it out loud.

Page awareness

On your website, the agent knows which page the visitor is on and can tailor its answers to it. Learn more

Actions on your website

The agent can run functions you define on your own site during a conversation, such as creating an account or fetching a price from details the visitor shared. Learn more

Pause handling and office sound

Turn off "Are you still there?" prompts if you prefer the agent to stay quiet during pauses. On phone calls you can add a light office background sound.

Bring in your team

Call transfer

The agent can transfer a phone call to your team, route each lead to their own rep using a field on the lead, and try the next number if the first one does not answer. The rep gets a call summary by email. Learn more

AI brings a rep into the live call

When a buyer is ready for a person, the agent alerts an available rep, who can listen in with a running summary of the call and then take over with one click. Reps work from a Waiting Room that shows every live call. Learn more

Waiting Room controls

Give each rep a star priority, offer calls to one rep at a time with a short countdown to accept or decline, and let reps claim, release or end calls. Reps who step away from their desk are marked away, so calls are not routed to an empty seat.

Several reps on one call

More than one rep can join the same web call, and each rep can see who is already there before joining.

Bring another AI agent into the call

Allow an agent to invite one of your other agents onto a live web call, for example a specialist for a product line, when the conversation calls for it or the visitor asks. Learn more

Live lead intent score

While a conversation runs, the AI scores how interested the lead is and shows the score, its trend and the reasons behind it, so your team knows which calls to join. Learn more

Live translated transcript

Reps can follow a call in another language through a live English transcript, switch back to the original wording in one click, and step in when needed. Learn more

Intercom handoff

Hand website chats to your team in Intercom. When a visitor asks for a person, the agent opens a conversation in your Intercom inbox, and your rep's replies show up in the chat.

A call button that checks who is available

Offer a live conversation with a rep only when someone is available, and a booking link or form when nobody is.

Booking and follow-up

Calendar booking

The agent books meetings straight onto your Calendly, Cal.com or Cal.eu calendar during the conversation, can add guests to the invite, and can choose the meeting location your event offers, such as Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or a phone call.

Callbacks

If a lead asks to be called later, the agent schedules the callback for you. Learn more

Retries

If a lead does not pick up, the agent tries again on the schedule you set, including after a voicemail.

Email follow-ups

After a conversation, the agent can send a follow-up email in the lead's language.

Outbound calling

Calling campaigns

Import leads from a CSV or Excel file and map each column, add them by API, or feed them in from Meta lead ads, and the agent calls through the list. When the campaign finishes, you get a report by email with the call spreadsheet attached, sent to the people you choose.

Voicemail and phone menus

The agent finds its way through phone menus and leaves a voicemail when nobody answers. Learn more

Calling hours in the lead's time

Set calling hours that follow each lead's local time, so a 9am start means 9am where the lead is. Learn more

Call caps

Limit how many calls a campaign starts per minute, hour or day. Leads waiting on the cap keep their place in the queue. Learn more

Stop when the lead has talked

Have a campaign stop calling a lead once they have had a conversation, and cancel future calls for a lead when you need to.

Opt-outs and clean lists

Leads who ask not to be called again are blocked from future calls, and numbers that no longer work are removed automatically.

Campaigns pause if calling breaks

If your calling connection stops working, live campaigns pause and show you why, instead of failing quietly.

Knowledge

Your website

A built-in assistant helps you set up: point it at your website and it builds your agent's knowledge base from your pages.

Files and FAQs

Upload documents to the knowledge base and delete, reprocess or download them in bulk. You can turn a file into FAQs, with a preview to review before anything changes.

Videos

Upload videos and they are transcribed into the knowledge base, so the agent can answer from your recorded demos and training. Learn more

Private pages

Connect pages and endpoints that sit behind a login, using a bearer token, an API key or basic sign-in, so the agent can use content that is not public. Learn more

Ask your knowledge base

Ask questions of your knowledge base from the dashboard to check what your agent knows.

Integrations and automation

CRMs

SalesCloser connects with HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Zendesk and GoHighLevel, so call outcomes land on the right contact, and GoHighLevel pipeline stages can start your automations. Salesforce and other tools connect through Zapier. Learn more

Zapier and webhooks

Send data to your other tools during a conversation, when it ends, when a lead converts or when a campaign finishes. Zapier sees every custom lead field you use.

API

Manage agents, leads, campaigns and conversations through the API, and add a lead to a campaign in one call. The documentation portal has ready-to-run code samples in cURL, Python, PHP, JavaScript and Ruby.

Sandbox and named API keys

Sandbox keys let you build and test a full integration without touching live leads, agents or conversations. Give each key a name so you can tell them apart.

White-label API

For white-label accounts, webhooks, embeds, API docs and the Postman collection carry no SalesCloser name.

MCP server

On paid plans, connect an AI assistant such as Claude, Cursor or Codex to your account to read and manage agents, leads, campaigns and calls in plain language. Learn more

Meta lead ads

Connect your Facebook and Instagram lead forms to a calling campaign, and new form leads are called automatically. The built-in assistant can set this up for you from the chat.

Your own tools

Connect the agent to your own tool server, signing in through a pop-up with no key to paste, so it can look things up or take actions in your internal systems during a conversation. Learn more

After-call tasks in your apps

When a connected app's ready-made actions cannot do what you asked after a call, the built-in assistant works out the steps through the app's own API and repeats them on later calls. Learn more

Restaurant and hotel orders

Restaurants and hotels can let the agent search the menu, quote the price and send confirmed orders into Oracle Simphony POS.

Run your account from a chat

The built-in assistant can create and update agents, campaigns, leads and knowledge bases when you describe what you want, and asks you to confirm first. It can also suggest a better prompt and saves it only if you approve.

Insights and quality

Calls and chats in one list

Calls and chats sit in one list you can filter. Conversations are recorded and transcribed so your team can review them, with each speaker on a separate audio track.

Call status and outcome

Each call shows whether it connected and, separately, what happened on it, such as a booked appointment or a transfer.

Call quality scoring

Calls are graded against each agent's own setup and goals.

Prompt analysis

A built-in check reviews an agent's instructions for contradictions and for requests that cannot work with its current setup.

Notes on recordings

Pin notes to points on a call recording so your team can find the moments that matter.

Attempt history

See the full history of call attempts for each lead in a campaign.

Handoff reporting

See how often visitors ask for a person, how often your reps join, and each rep's join rate and handle time.

Exports

Export calls and leads with the fields, presets and formats you choose, including your custom lead fields. Large exports arrive by email.

Where your widget runs

An Embedded Sites tab lists the websites your agent's widget runs on, and each conversation shows the site it started from.

Security and admin

Two-factor authentication

Each user can turn on two-factor sign-in with an authenticator app. Learn more

Strong passwords

Passwords need at least 12 characters, and passwords found in known data breaches are refused.

Security activity record

Sign-ins, failed sign-ins, password and two-factor changes, and API token changes are recorded so our team can trace activity on your account.

Team roles

Invite your team with Admin, Manager, Editor or Viewer access, and invite several teammates at once by pasting their emails.

Agent folders

Keep agents organized in folders as your team builds more of them.

Training videos in the app

Searchable training videos, organized by topic, sit inside the dashboard.

Switched on by our team

A few features need setup on our side before they work for your account. Our team switches them on and walks you through the setup. Ask about them when you book a demo or contact support.

SMS

Two-way texting and SMS campaigns. Texting US leads needs carrier registration for your number.

Shopify

Merchants can set up SalesCloser from their Shopify admin and pay on their Shopify bill.

FAQ

Still wondering about something? Ask us on the call. We'll build your agent while we talk.

What does SalesCloser do?

SalesCloser provides AI sales agents that talk with your leads by website chat, browser voice and video calls, phone and WhatsApp. They answer questions from your content, qualify leads, book meetings, follow up, and bring your team in when a person is needed.

Does SalesCloser work on WhatsApp?

Yes. Your AI agent can answer customers on your WhatsApp Business number, hand the conversation to your team when they ask for a person, and call leads over WhatsApp. You need a WhatsApp Business account with a registered number, our team helps you set it up, and replies follow WhatsApp's 24-hour messaging window.

Can the AI transfer a call to my team?

Yes. On phone calls the agent can transfer to your number, route each lead to their own rep and fall back to the next number if nobody answers. On web calls it can bring an available rep into the live conversation, and several reps can join the same call.

What languages does SalesCloser speak?

Agents speak 50+ languages. Each phone number can choose its call language, and your team can follow calls in other languages through a live English transcript.

Which CRMs does SalesCloser work with?

SalesCloser connects with HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Zendesk and GoHighLevel. Salesforce and many other tools connect through Zapier, webhooks or the API.

Do I need to turn features on?

Many features are on for every account. Others, such as the Waiting Room, speech-to-speech voices, the Scripted style and calling hours in the lead's time, are switched on in your settings. SMS and Shopify are switched on by our team.

How does SalesCloser protect my account?

Each user can turn on two-factor sign-in, passwords must be at least 12 characters and are checked against known breaches, team roles control who can do what, and sign-ins and security changes are recorded so our team can trace activity.

Can developers build on SalesCloser?

Yes. There is an API with a documentation portal and code samples, sandbox keys for testing without live data, webhooks and Zapier, and on paid plans an MCP server for AI assistants such as Claude, Cursor and Codex.

Can SalesCloser match my brand?

Yes. You can set the widget's colours, layout and header image, use a custom avatar, and hide the "Powered by SalesCloser" badge on paid plans. White-label accounts get API docs and webhooks without the SalesCloser name.

How do I get started?
